GREAT STAY

Great stop for the Bay Area and close to everything; San Francisco, Napa Wine Country, East Bay, San Jose, and others within an hours drive or less. Clean grounds with some grass spots. Pet friendly with lots of roaming areas. Very quiet, well managed, nice park Hosts, and near by Pleasanton a very nice town with some great resturants. Golf courses near by along with other recreational facilities. This was our fifth stay during the Good Guys car show. Make your reservations early. The North side is the best but has no restroom facilities. You can use the ones in the South side park. Very resonable. Highly recommend.

This is a nice park for visiting in the SF bay area, or as a side stop on a north-south trip. The rates are very affordable -- especially compared to the rest of the bay area. It is not in the middle of city traffic, but close enough to a BART station and a major freeway to be get there easily if you have a small camper van or a tow vehicle.
There are 2 camping areas -- RV north and south. I stayed in the newer, north area and it was really very nice. The only bad thing I can think of is that you have to go over to the south area for the showers, but that was minor.

This campground was excellent the host were friendly and very helpful. The location of the fairground campgrounds provided easy access to highways and the public transit into San Francisco made it a very enjoyable stay. Do not pass up stopping here and spend some time.

Nice park within the Fairgrounds. No restrooms or showers. Area is clean and attractive with camp hosts in attendance. Many things to do in the surrounding area. Some grass sites, and some gravel. Paved roads. Would return.
