OK, but not in August

Understand Central Calif. including Gold Country gets hot and dry during the summer. We used the park as a base camp to fish, see the high Sierras, Murphys, Columbia St Park, Railtown USA, Yosemite and more.
Been to the area before, first time in our fiver. The park staff was very friendly, moved us at our request when we arrived. There is not much shade and the the goathead thorns are abundant on the east side of the park. (At least at our 2 sites) Showers/restrooms were clean, washer/dryer very reasonable. The pool was clean, play area is kid friendly with rubber tire bits to prevent injury. All the sites save one are gravel and mostly level.

Their was 3 Rv'r together for the Blues&Bones festival. We had a great time. The park was good, and the host was great. He stopped by everynite to check things. Of course John Wayne's name came up and it was quite a confersation. Later Podner. Jerry&Alice Johnston

Can't wait to come back!

Just got home from my second trip to Angel's Camp RV Camping Resort in less than a month! I had so much fun fishing New Melones and Don Pedro Lakes that I jumped at the chance, when I was asked if I wanted to go again! The fishing was outstanding and so was the staff at Angels Campm RV & Camping Resort. They were extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. The campgrounds and it's facilities were clean and had everything we needed. I cannot wait to come back for a third time (and many more!)
