Nice site, friendly staff. Pool was very welcome on a hot day. Tent area next to some very noisy frogs.

It felt more like a mobile home park then RV park. The "long-term" tenants were situated in back away from the busy HWY noise, so the overnight travelers had to listen to sirens, traffic and the train.

Rob was very helpful. Lots of pull throughs that make it very easy to park. Office and facilities very clean. We look forward to staying there again.

This is medium sized RV park that is mostly filled with long-term occupants. The long-term sites were kept tidy and the rigs in good condition. I mostly noticed at about 6am when I heard all the vehicle/truck traffic leaving for work. The short term sites are perfect. Long, pull-thru, paved sites with plenty of room to park our Jeep and mature shade trees. We did not use the restrooms or laundry but the hot tub was in good working condition. The park is a great location and close to old town Auburn. We will be back.

Camping in Auburn

Auburn Gold Country RV Park was very clean and the staff was helpful. The spot we stayed in was bordering on ridiculously small and narrow. When your neighbors sewer hookup is under your picnic table, it's too small. The park is well maintained and away from main drag and close to supermarket. We took many day trips up HWY 49 and down to Folsom Prison and this park was very centrally located for us. We had fun and no problems with the power and sewer hookups. The laundry room was clean and modern. Plenty of room to walk your pets on nice grass. I think you may want to cut down a little on the "rules" signs all over the park. It's a little overkill. Did you know we are warned twice that there is No Lifeguard On Duty at the spa, in the space of about ten feet? Anyway, we enjoyed your beautiful Northern California. Thanks for asking. Happy New Year.

Gold Country RV Experience
0 % of users found this review helpful
We have stayed at this facility over the past 15 years when visiting family in the area. We didn't really look forward to it as the park seemed to be run down. Our last visit was after the new owners had just taken over the facility with promises to improve. To our surprise they have done an outstanding job with the sites, grounds and overall experience. Solar panels are now located just below the park and show that these folks are here to stay. The addition of spruce/evergreen trees along the entrance will only enhance the first impression when new RV'ers arrive. As a reward for their hard work and upgrades the park was completely full. Reservations are recommended. I think they have done a wonderful job and look forward to our next visit.

paved paradise and put in a parking lot

we were in space 13. It was very small, no place to sit outside without feeling like you were in a parking lot. The big rigs could hardly go by the site. It was noisy and after 7 years of RVing it was the worst park we have ever been to.

too crowded! I have a 19' trailer and a 19' truck. I had to park off the site. This is a parking lot. No grass for over-nighters. The dog walk was clean and well maintained. I will probably return, just for the convenience of location but if I find another campground in the vicinity, I will probably try it out.
