This is a great location to camp in very close proximity to a lot of nice attractions. In addition to being located in the Cal Expo Fairgrounds, a very large selection of shopping, dining and entertainment is nearby. We have stayed here while doing Christmas shopping and it was wonderful with close proximity to the Arden Fair Mall. The park is located right on the Sacramento River with access to bike/running trails. The campground is very nice and clean with a fair sense of security. Staff is kind and accommodating.
