It's a come backer

The staff was very friendly, the grounds were kept up and clean. We stayed in one of the cabins that they have on the grounds. It was also clean and comfortable. Its central location was very helpful to visiting the many attractions that California has to offer. I would recommend Canyon RV to my friends. Do not be alarmed by its location next to the freeway. It was not even noticed once you enter the park. We stayed for three days and nights. We took a one day boat out of Newport Beach to go fishing, went to Disney Land, and drove up to Big Bear. We had up 70 family and friends there with us. It was a blast.

Wonderful atmosphere even though close to a freeway. No disturbing noise and beautiful to walk along the riverbank. Nice large trees. Shower facilities inconvenient unless you don't mind dressing in a wet puddle. As long as you aren't looking for a long hot highpressure shower there's no disappointments here.

I only wish it were closer to our home, we'd be there many more times each year.
Lots of grassy area, a creek along the back of the camp sites (well it's called a river, but it's just a creek this time of year). Always something to do...we've been their during a Rennaisance Fair, grabbing some great pictures of the grandkids trying their hands at swordsmanship, helmets and armor. Another time we got to visit and observe a Dalmation obedience and "beauty contest". And on our last visit, watched our adult kids and the grandkids risk life and limb on the rope climbing area. There is so much to do here, and if you wish, just kick back and enjoy the space. Bike riding is big at this park as well. Nice little store, wish it were bigger and carried soft serve, but we can't have everything.
We go once a year with our FMCA motorhome group, and 1-2 times on our own.
We would highly recommend this part, especially to families and to those who don't like the neighbors slide encroaching on their campsite...it simply isn't possible at Canyon RV.
Nice enough folks, pretty quick at check-in, always helpful.
Give it a try but be cautious of the summer months...it can get brutally hot there.

This RV park is absolutly beautiful! Last summer we took a 10,000 mile road trip and stayed in many RV parks, and this by far was the best one. The bathroom were spacious and CLEAN! I can't wait for our return trip this summer.
