Great Palm Desert Family Vacation

We stayed at this beautiful park for 3 days with our 2 boys (7 & 12 yrs). We didn't know what to expect because of the reviews that we read online. When we checked in the helpful staff reviewed the family rules with us. We mentioned the reviews about not being family friendly and they stated that they had recently made some changes. The park is open to families from April 15th to Sept 15th outside those dates it is exclusively adults. We enjoyed that the park had two pools the main one for all of the guests and a smaller pool toward the West side of the park which was exclusively 18+. There was also a kids lounge were they could do crafts, puzzles and games. The kids enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed the poolside music with lunch. We tried learning pickle ball (similar to tennis) and Bocce Ball. The park itself is very clean, beautiful and convenient to the area activities. The staff suggested that we take an aerial tram ride and visit the Living Desert which were great suggestions. We had a great time and would come back. The train and highway didn't really bother us.

They were very willing to take our very high space fee and then we were throw from the pool because we had children. This is only for old folks who want their peace and quiet. They should state their core customers and don't allow anyone under 18 in the park. The management was very rude and would not accomadate families even though we were up front in the beginning that this was a family situation. Not a good experience. Too bad because it could be a great destination park. Beacuse we had kids we were ostasized from the beginning as the snowbirds claim this place as their own.
