This was our secont time camping. We are as long as we can still walk going to camp here on Whiskey Flats. We have also changed from Chico Flats in August to Frandy. They are super great Hosts and provide ice and wood that they bring right to Your camp. Also pick up trash. We always have A great experience and will continue to use them as long as they will have us. They didnt even mind me calling to bother them a bunch for questions pertaining to my trip. I even found A dog scared and lost and they came and found her owner. Thanks Frandy, Dave the Happy Camper

Good place to stay for Whiskey Flat Days. Great friendly service, site location good and dog friendly. Portable toilets variable condition (not unusual!). For the price would like to have seen more permanent facilities but I guess price is in line with holiday resort rates generally. Access to restaurants, shops and events good. Good time had by all!

We have camped at Frandy's 10+ times. Every trip is a lil different, The one thing that don't change is the Quality of service, and Friendlyness of the staff. The Amenities are simple, but greatly appriciated. We love camping at Frandy's My kids (young adults). like the fact they can walk everywhere..... My Dog loves the new adventures, and clean area. I give it a 10.. thank you!

The weekend after the 4th of July is probably often a busy one, 2011 was no different. The first thing I learned was that Camp Frandy has no lights out or quiet time, as mentioned in other web reviews, the dueling boom boxes blasted long into the night, at 1:00 AM the noise and festivities were still going loud and strong. You can imagine that with +100°F the portapotty aroma wafted into every square foot of the Frandy campground. Two showers (a third was out of service) for a campground with well over 100 guests guarantees you have plenty of time to meet your fellow campers while you are waiting your turn. The one and only flush toilet for the men's side of camp facilities was flooded to the brim with the nastiest stuff you have ever seen, don't even think about using that one. Daybreak comes early in July, by 5:00 AM it is bright outside, though the sun is not yet up. At 5:30 AM I found the men's room closed but i spied a young man (a family member I suspect) of approximately 13 years a few steps away from the shower house and asked him to open up so I could use the facilities and beat the rush. 'Nope' he says, we don't unlock the shower room till 6:00 AM sharp, you will have to wait another 30 minutes, thank you very much! Well what do you think? Should I go back? Probably not a good idea.

There are many great campsites right on the river. There are plenty of trees to provide shade. Plenty of roocks to create firepits. Ice and firewood was available 24/7. The only negatives were lost of mosquitos and the cotton from the trees.

In our 30+ years of rv'ing, Frandy has to be the dirtiest, uncontrolled, filthy campground we've experienced. I made a reservation and paid a deposit in advance for a RV spot with hookups. When checking in, I was told that there "must have been a mistake". I did not have one of their THREE sites with hookups. Arriving in 100+ degree heat with no hookup for my A/C was maddening. Upon pulling in, our site was littered with food wrappers, bottle caps and cigarette butts. From the moment we checked in, people were freely walking thru our space. The space between our truck and trailer, and around our bar-b-que were wide open for "visitors". I quit asking people to respect our designated space. Why start a fight with such people. Our site was located next to the community water spigot. The "No Washing" rule at the spot was not enforced. I watched people bathe, wash clothes, dishes and brush teeth at this only water source. The spot was littered with trash. All this effluent washed down and puddled our entire site. Every time we stepped out of our trailer, we had to track thru this waste. The leash rule was also not enforced. Dogs were freely roaming the grounds. Whenever we walked our leashed dogs, we were constantly harassed by uncontrolled dogs. One dog jumped up on our trailer step and started barking at our dogs inside of our rig. Not once, did I see any park staff or security patrolling the area. Obviously, they are content with these conditions. We already prepaid, we had reservations with a local outfitter and there were no other RV sites in town, we were stuck. Otherwise, we would have vacated this deplorable facility. Frandy campground gives a bad name to the RV campground business.

Frandy is the Best! This is our second year and we have reservations for next year. No other campground will work with a group our size. The customer service is wonderful. We also enjoyed Eagle Rafting as a group.
