We had our annual family reunion at Lake of the Springs this year. What an awesome time! The campground is beautiful. The entire facilities are very well maintained with lots of activities. The children love swimming in the lake as well as the pool. The adults enjoy horse shoes and my grandchildren love participating in the paddle boat races that are held. They have line dance lessons on Tuesday-Saturday that are open to all ages. The instructor ensures that everyone learns a dance so they can participate in the weekly dance held on Saturday evening. At the Saturday night dance they have a "live" band in the tennis courts. Even the children are out there dancing with the parents/grandparents. The staff is awesome. They let the campers know they are there to help in whatever way they can. The best part about the entire experience is the fact that you feel safe. Safe to let your children run around and enjoy themselves. We held a scavenger hunt for the kids this year and they visited many campsites throughout the facility to try and find the items on their list. Girls against the boys - GIRLS WON!! We will definitely be back next year!
