It just happens that this park is on our way home from visiting our grandson so location is what got us there, but service and enjoyment of the park is what keeps us coming back. We love the sites and the overall park, town is walking distance away, the front office service is excellent and we've had a wonderful experience every time we visit. Being right on 89 the road noise is loud during the day but quiets down almost completely at night and you're just a few miles from the gorgeous McCloud River Lower falls and great hiking. We would recommend this clean, safe park to anyone.

Our stay at McCloud Dance Country RV Resort for one night was grand. Clean showers, well-maintained park, cheerful staff. The fee was also modest. The location near the charming town of McCloud was convenient. Don't miss the museum in McCloud, if you like that sort of thing. The Mt Shasta area is a splendid, healthful place to explore!

Wonderful place to stay

I have stayed there many times, both winter and summer. Was sorry that they are closed in the winter now. Excellent sites. Walking distance to restaurant and town. Unless yhou have ear plugs do stay away from the highway. Also have fully furnished cabins with maid service. Very friendly. I plan on continuing to visit them.

Nice but...

We stayed on a one night stopover on a recent roadtrip so our experience was limited. We checked in about 7 and were greeted by the manager/owner? Very pleasant fellow and he directed us to our site. He also informed us that there was no hot water in the restrooms as the water heater was not working. We have a very small shower in our TT and generally use the facility showers and restrooms so hot water is pretty important. At that point we had few options so we stayed. The place is generally clean and relatively well maintained with large spaces and fire pits. The bathrooms are "rustic" and well used but clean. The surroundings are quite pleasant, many trees and grassy sites. McCloud is a very small, cute, old mill town, very quiet and peaceful. The business district is within walking distance. Overall it was an average place and for us, ok for one night. The hot water was a real issue and from a customer service perspective a rate discount would have made the issue more pallatable.
