Have only camped in our jewels of Oregon State Parks. This park is immaculately clean and well cared for, with lots of staff, and security. Bathrooms and showers are well kept. Lots of nice shaded areas, especially on the right side as you leave registration. great value too -- 4 nights (midweek) for the price of 3.

Great facility - clean, safe, secure, great for big rigs. Awesome location by beach. Will need to take advantage of complementary wine tour shuttle next time!

we return every year to Pismo Coast Village RV resort, it is convenient, has amenities, friendly. right on the beach, we can watch the sunset, watch the ducks and birds, hear the roar of the waves. You can walk into Pismo along the water. If you want parking lots, this is not for you, if you want quiet seniors, this is not for you. It has kids, dogs, activities! It is fun, and accomodating. I absolutely love it, the management is friendly, professional, it is clean, the little store has necessities, the little cafe is there if you don't feel like cooking. You have washing machines, swimming pool, and movie night. Campfires are encouraged or you can just sit and do nothing except breath in the air and enjoy the view. We take our dogs and are absolutely comfortable walking them. Of cours there are always the dog owners who do not feel that picking up poop is their job but for the most part everyone cleans up, there are doggie bags available, lots of trash bins, wifi! It is a vacation to be enjoyed!!

We visit 5-6 times a year. The office staff is always friendly. The do their very best at getting our RV and our friends together. We love walking to town, beach and around the park. Hope to have the restaurant back soon, miss eating there this last Thanksgiving. Its so nice its getting more and more difficult to get our reservations 6 months in advance. That says a lot for the quality of the park and staff. Looking forward to our next visit.

Pismo Rocks!

Pismo Coast Village is a wonderful family park! It's proximity to the ocean, downtown and the pier couldn't be better. The staff is always busy keeping things clean and helping campers with whatever their needs. Coming from SoCal, I truly appreciate the "natural" rustic setting as opposed to the "plastic" overbuilt Orange Co. beaches. Everything is walking distance but, if you want to take little day trips there are plenty to be had. The Castle in San Simeon, the shops in Cambria, Cuyucos and Morro are all wonderful little communities. The San Luis pier tucked away in Avila Beach is a great place for a stroll and dining on the pier. San Luis Obispo is has many great restaurants, pubs and shops and the beautiful, historical Mission in the center of town. If you like you can take in some of the hiking trails in the area, bi-plane rides, golf and of course surfing. Of course it's alway nice just to grab a good book, listen to the waves, the wildlife and soak up the sun!

We have been coming here for about 15 years. Not a bad trip yet. Lots of friendly people to make friends with. I often see visitors from previous trips.

My wife and I stayed at Pismo Beach Village for one night on our way back to Oregon after our five week trip to the Southwest. Apart from the overcast skies and cool weather our short stay was a delight. We were lucky to get a waterfront spot overlooking the lagoon close to the doggy area, easy access to the beach ( Bob the dog was in his element) and near the restrooms which were very clean and well appointed. The staff were exceptionally helpful when I made the reservation and when we checked in. The park was almost full the night we stayed but did not detract from our peaceful experience in this beautiful part of the mid- California coast. This park was exceptionally clean, well cared for and worth the fee. We will stay there again when we are in the area.
