Pleasantly surprized

On a last minute whim I decided to take a short trip somewhere near Santa Cruz. I made a reservation and when we arrived were greeted by the owners who were very friendly. Our site was perfect for our small rig, right up against the river enclosed by a group of Redwood trees. The facility is very well kept and clean as a whistle. Our kids and dogs enjoyed the river and so did me and Mom. The Sunday breafast was great with pretty much all you could eat. Very friendly personable service. Their yard maintenance man is very attentive friendy and promp. There are quite a few local attractions. The Mystery spot is a must and of course the Santa Cruz Beach and Boardwalk is always fun. All in all we had a wonderful experience and will undoubtedly return for a longer stay.

The facility was immaculate! The staff was very helpful and even though we had a camp site mixup (ours was taken) they were very willing to help us move to the correct site in the am. The kids loved playing in the river and the rec room provided hours of fun. Quiet time did not seem to be enforced but at our second site, the people were all quiet after 11pm. WOuld definitely return if we were in the area.

Staying at Santa Cruz Redwoods RV Resort was a wonderful experience among the redwood trees and the San Lorenzo River. The friendly staff serves breakfast every Sat. morn in the summer. Beautiful rec hall for the kids which are also allowed to play on their bikes and ride thru the park. Fire pits allowed for the perfect atmosphere. Our dog loved the river as well. Will be back.

First and foremost, the staff was wonderful...from the moment I got on the phone to make our reservation, 'til the moment we departed! The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accomodating. The park itself was just beautiful...redwood trees surrounding us as far as the eye can see, and the sound of the San Lorenzo River flowing right behind, within 15 yards from us. (By the way, the restrooms/showers were extra clean!) The ambience was very family-oriented which suited our needs perfectly!
