1. It's the people: we wanted to board our dogs for one day while we rode the Skunk Train and called the resort for a recommendation. Dusty and Gus said not to bother with. Kennel. The took our dogs for the day, no extra charge. We had a great train ride and the dogs had a fun time as part of a new family for the day. Only special people engage in acts of kindness and Sportsmen RV is operated by truly special people. 2. When we arrived, our son said "yea, Dad booked a parking lot." Ok, the area is flat. But, what a great "flat." the picnic area is a dock at water's edge. The sunset on the mouth of the river was spectular. The location is convenient to places to eat - walking distance - and shopping and all of Fort Bragg is right above the park. 3. If you like to walk, there is a nice path up the hill to town. You can walk to the break water and watch boat activity. And you can walk around the entire marina with lots of fishing activities and related businesses. 4. Bathrooms and showers always warrant a comment. Theirs was immaculate. This is a grea

We were sorry to leave. Weather was frequent, dock on the river is available 24/7, restroom/shower was always clearn and the operators were friendly and onsite. Fort Bragg area has much to do and see. View from dock is breathtaking and there are 5 good restaurants in walking distance. We will be back again and again.

Great Stay

We stayed for a week this month at the Sportsmans RV Park. This was our 3rd stay at this park and we thouroughly enjoy it here. Linda and Dusty are great hosts. They go above and beyond to make sure our stay is always wonderful, even sharing the daily paper with us. The deck is a great place for moning coffee, afternoon reading or meeting others for happy hour. It is relaxing to watch the fishing boats come and go. Our dog loves the off leash dog beach that is a short walk away. My favorite is the six restaurants in Noyo Harbor that are within walking distance. I really get to relax and only need to cook one meal a day!! Great Place to Stay. WE WILL BE BACK!!

the sportsman rv park was a drag to stay at the service was horrendous. The owners are not polite, caring, let alone people i want my children to be around. the facility is not clean there is feces everywhere(canine/feline). it is not private, there is constant pass buyers. it may be close to the water but the view is not the best! there are better views south of the bridge. i would not recommend this facility what so ever! i have absolutely nothing positive to say about it.

Management Response
We are very disappointed in this vicious review. In this life you meet all kinds and sometimes people you help are never satisfied with what you do. This person was not a "guest" of our park. We rented a separate unit to her boyfriend with the ageement that he would help with maintenance. He did very little and obtained an out of control dog, many male stayovers, then brought in the girlfriend. We evicted them at the end of May before the season started. We are a small park located on the Noyo River with fantastic views. There is an off-leash beach 3 blocks away, a non-license fishing jetty and several fine restaurants all within walking distance. We currently have guests who have returned for the third time this year. Please go online at sportsmansrvpark.com, or visit our park and decide for yourself; what we have to offer is a comfortable, intimate, friendly spot in paradise and look forward to your visit. We were there 2 weeks ago for 4 days. My husband, myself, two ten year old girls and our dog. We enjoyed setting on the deck watching the boats go by, the birds fly over head, and the beauty of the harbor entrance. Thank you so much Linda for the wonderful care you gave us. The girls enjoyed their time shopping is your little store and visiting with your husband. We look forward to our visit in September and any other time we can steal away from the valley heat.
