Great Getaway In The Sierra Foothills! Ten minutes from the North and Middle Fork of the Yuba River and Bullard's Bar Reservoir-boating, kayaking, river rafting, swimming, fishing and water skiing are just around the corner. Our hiking and biking trails start in the campgound and extend to lakes and streams along Highway 49 and beyond. Gold panning and nugget hunting are encouraged on our wooded 20-acre site in the lush Tahoe National Forest.
Willow Creek Campground is at the center of an historic hub of gold camps, famous gold mining towns and significant landmark buildings and monuments. Activities and services in the campground include outside games, creek wallowing, occasional live music (country, blue grass, honky-tonk, and blues), barbeques, pool table, and video games, outside movies, showers, laundry, RV dump and full hookups. We cater to families, young adults, and seniors who use small to medium-sized RVs (up to 36 feet), camper vans, pickup campers and tents of all sizes. Those who boast middle age are most welcome, also.
There are furnished cabins with bathrooms, kitchenettes, decks, and picnic tables overlooking the creek. The camp store has delicious food necessities, special snacks, soft drinks, ice cream, hotdogs, burgers, burritos, and camp supplies. The store patio has umbrella tables for eating, visiting, and hanging out with your laptops. Cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter than the valley or the high Sierra country, every season at Willow offers guests peace, quiet, exquisite beauty a world away from the pressure of the everyday grind. We have Internet service and pay phones in the campground. Cell phone service is a mile away.
